The Kiddie Cutlery set has quickly become the favorite for our toddler. One of the standout features is that the entire set is made of stainless steel, which aligns with our efforts to avoid microplastics, BPA, and other harmful substances in our children's items. It feels like a much safer option overall.
For my almost 3-year-old, this set outshines the others we own. In comparison to our Munchkin Splash set, the knife is the same size, but the spoon is slightly longer and holds more, making it better for soups. The fork is also a bit longer with extended tines, providing better functionality. So, while the sizes are similar, the spoon and fork are noticeably more effective.
When comparing it to our Ahimsa set, these utensils are shorter and more ergonomic, which I prefer, as the Ahimsa set was a bit too cumbersome for my toddler. I also appreciate that the Duck Duck Eco Goods set is easy to clean—being a single-piece design with gently rounded edges, they’re both simple to grip and safe for little hands.
Overall, these utensils are simple, beautiful, practical, and perfect for my toddler.
Bonus - They fit perfectly in the front pocket of the Duck Duck Eco Goods backpack!
** We received this product free in exchange for an honest review. My toddler calls them her “duckie utensils” and wants to be sure we thank the duckie. So, thank you!
