How to leverage this book at different ages to spark meaningful conversations:

If your child is under 1

 Encourage your child to wonder with the bright, contrasting colors.

If your child is 1-2 years old

 Read the simple phrases as they learn to talk. These positive phrases will become part of their vocabulary and will help guide them as they grow. Count the puppies as they learn to count. Bark like a dog and encourage them to copy.

If your child is 3-5 years old

 Instill confidence in your child as they repeat these positive phrases, and encourage him/her to be comfortable with their differences. Identify the breeds of the dogs. Talk about shelters and rescue dog adoption. Acknowledge that being different is amazing, and despite the differences we are all wonderful.

Great book for children and adults

My son loves this book so much. It captures his interest and introduces him to my native language. As someone who is also learning the we are both learning together. Perfect pictures and entertaining.

Excellent bilingual book.

My family loves this book! We love that there are many types of dogs, it's inclusive of breeds, shapes, sizes, capabilities! My daughter loves looking at all the different pictures of dogs, what they're doing, and all the cute little drawings around them. I love that I can read the book to her in Chinese and my husband can read the book to her in English. It's an quality board book and it comes in traditional Chinese, such a rare find! Highly recommended!

Awesome book

We love this Chinese and English book! It is perfect for our little daughter who is Chinese. We are excited to read her daily both in English and Chinese so she will come to appreciate and love our family pug dog. We really enjoy the fact that this book promotes beauty in all shapes and sizes. We hope our child will love all.
